On May 9, 2023, we released our first book, “The Other Side of Special: Navigating the Messy, Emotional, Joy-Filled Life of a Special Needs Mom.”

Dig into the life, tears, joys, struggles, and triumphs, of being a special needs parent.

Where did we come up with the show’s title, Take Heart?

It was through one of our favorite scriptures in The Bible. Add in each one of you special moms and there you have it!

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
(John 16:33, NIV)
